Terms of Service
Crunchy · Last updated 17 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Leapforge Innovations Private Limited ("Crunchy", "we") for use of the Crunchy app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
1. Who can use Crunchy
You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use Crunchy only with a parent or guardian's involvement, and they are responsible for the account.
One account may hold several profiles, for a household. The account holder is responsible for everything done under it.
2. Your account
- Give accurate sign-up details and keep your sign-in secure.
- Do not share your account, or sell or transfer access to it.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.
- You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your account.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Crunchy offers free lessons and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through Google Play Billing. We never see or handle your card or UPI details.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and Google Play is the authority on the price and taxes that apply to you.
- Auto-renewing plans renew at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period ends.
- Prepaid passes do not renew. They simply expire.
- A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid period unless you cancel before it ends.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Ask Google Play first; if that fails, write to us and we will help.
- Price changes are notified in advance through Google Play, and you can cancel rather than accept them.
4. What you may and may not do
Crunchy is for learning. You may watch lessons, take quizzes, use the games, and share lesson links.
You may not:
- Copy, download, re-record, re-upload or redistribute lesson content.
- Reverse engineer the app, or try to extract lesson scripts or audio.
- Use bots, scripts or automated means to farm XP, streaks or badges.
- Break, overload or probe our servers.
- Use Crunchy to break the law, or to infringe anyone's rights.
5. Chat, rooms and conduct
Watch Together lets people watch a lesson in sync and chat. In any room you must not:
- Harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone.
- Post sexual content, hate speech, or anything glorifying violence or self-harm.
- Share anyone's personal details, your own included. Contact details are automatically stripped from chat and this is deliberate — see the Privacy Policy.
- Spam, advertise, or promote other services.
- Impersonate anyone.
Messages and names pass through automated moderation. We may remove content, close a room, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Serious cases — especially anything involving a risk to a minor — are reported to the authorities.
6. Content and ownership
Lessons, scripts, artwork, narration, the Crunchy name and the app itself belong to us or our licensors. Using Crunchy gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to watch the lessons inside the app. It does not transfer ownership of anything.
Anything you write — chat messages, profile and squad names — stays yours. You give us permission to store, display and moderate it so the feature can work.
7. Educational use only
Crunchy is educational. It is not professional advice.
This matters most for the medicine, dentistry, health and money lessons. Those lessons explain how something works. They are not medical, dental, diagnostic, legal or financial advice, and must never be used to diagnose or treat anyone, or to make an investment decision. Consult a qualified professional.
Crunchy is also not a substitute for school, a syllabus, or an examination board. We aim for accuracy and correct mistakes when we find them, but we do not guarantee that every lesson is complete or current.
8. Availability
We try to keep Crunchy running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you have paid for, you get a fair refund of the unused part.
9. Ending this agreement
You can stop using Crunchy and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are legally required to. Except in serious cases, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account without cause, you get a refund of any unused paid period.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, Crunchy is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to whatever you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, lost profits, or exam results.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Crunchy after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, delete your account.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Thane, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have where you live.
